Smile Autumn Birdie Bread

Here's a Recipe that I've just finished Making and it's a huge hit, so I thought that I would share it.

2 boxes of Jiffy cornbread mix
2 eggs
2/3 c. of milk
1/2 bag of frozen mixed veggies
1 small jar of baby food carrots
1 small jar of baby food mixed veggies
1 small sweet potato or half of a can of natural pumpkin or both
1 small squash{ summer or zucchini}
1 whole banana mashed
1 bag of frozen mixed fruit thawed until there's juice in the bag
A pinch of grated ginger root
1/2 of a clove of galic mashed
1 tsp. cinnimon
2 tbsp. sugar
juice of a fresh orange
1/2 c. whole wheat flour

cook and puree sweet potato and squash, puree mixed fruit with juice.

In a large bowl mix all wet ingreadient, add dry ingreadients and mix well.

In a well greased pan 9 x 13 pan pour in mixture. Bake according to directions on the box of corn bread mix. Cut into squares.

I hope your fid's enjoy this as much as mine did.

Hug's
Judy

Talking Re: Autumn Birdie Bread

New to this forum and jumping right in as I have a big Beak

Please leave out the milk, sugar and jiffy mix....use instead plain corn meal as the birds don't care if it rises, u can subsitute water for the milk and the birds should not get sugar....Hope this helps not annoys
