With a very heavy heart I have had to have my German Sheperd put down. Shadow was truly my shadow for almost 12 years. He followed me every where and did just about everything with me. I wasn't prepared to watch this beautiful, loyal and loving part of my life suffer in pain. Shadow is very much loved and missed. He has been an absolute pleasure and mom's baby.

Shadow mom loves you so much and I miss you so much. Rest in peace and enjoy running pain free through the fields, you are a puppy once again.

Losing such a dear friend is so hard. I have been there and will travel that road many more times. You were blessed to have had Shadow in your life for 12 years.

I'm so sorry for your loss. This hits very, very close to home. My GSD, Buddy, is really starting to show his age and it's just heartbreaking. Sending prayers your way.

losing a life friend is so difficult, and i feel for you. sometimes, it's hard to remember why we keep animals like dogs, whom we will almost always outlive. but they touch our lives in so many amazing ways, how can we live without them?

shadow will be waiting for you at the rainbow bridge. he is in a better place now, with no pain.

Thank you so much everybody, all your warm wishes have definitely helped. It is still very difficult and both me and my other fury baby Gatsby keep looking for my boy.

Strange as it may sound Michelle, I know he is with me and I can feel him. It is very comforting. I tried so hard to prepare myself for this but it has been a lot harder than I imagined and I miss the boy so much.
