Default My dear, sweet Boston

I'd like to share a few pictures and my last videos of Boston. Watching the videos today made me smile - although they also make me want to reach right through the monitor and give him the biggest hug and bury my face in his fur. Then of course let him push noses - he'd scent my nose across one side of his face and then the other and I can nearly smell his kitty breath now

Here are the videos that we took about a month ago, I sure miss his sweet voice and his gentle nature:

YouTube - Boston being cute and whiny

YouTube - Brushing Boston

YouTube - Boston playing with a belt

YouTube - Cat Symphony

This video was taken in January 2008 after the annual cat show that we attend:
YouTube - Boston with his catnip toy

And a few pics from my dozens of pics of him:

Boston and Riley, the two Black & Whites:

King of lazy days:

All three of my furry goons together:

The videos made me laugh out loud - everyone of them.

You know, he seemed really healthy looking - so you should be glad he wasn't sick for long. He was very lucky there. What's your Taby? Bitchy Bea & Boston I know. The brushing video was a hoot - like a car wash. Vive was a big talker too - we'd have whole conversations. I got a cat nip toy like that for Vive & one that was more like sausage shape as well - she'd bunny kick it & get all wild eyed.

& then like Susan said - it was a bit sad.

What a nice memorial - very upbeat & true to his life.

I know, sorry for bringing on the water works again. I knew we had at least one or two videos of him recently and when I found all 5 yesterday I was so happy to see that we have more videos.

Bruin is the tabby - Dave had Boston & Bruin before I moved in and he couldn't think of a good name for Bruin. So he went with his love of hockey and named her after the mascot of Boston's team, the Boston Bruins. Bruin loves to be near people but but not ON people or fussed over by people all the time. She's not nearly the attention-craver that Boston and Josie are.

Boston did seem healthy despite his extra weight that he put on after being neutered as an adult.

Our house is most definitely missing a big part of our family with Boston being gone. Even though we have so manuy critters it seems vastly empty in here right now.

Awwww! There is alot to miss in that sweet Boston! What a beautiful cat. Makes me want one and I am so allergic to cats that my eyes swell shut! Ruby and I enjoyed the video shows. Ruby hasn't ever seen a cat, so she didn't know what to say! ha! I loved the brush one and on the catnip one she seemed to be thinking "allright now - I already killed it, why do you want me to kill it again????" So precious. Bless your sad heart!

I'm so sorry about Boston. Thanks for sharing the pictures and video. He looks like he had a lot of personality. Glad he was part of your family.

Thanks for sharing your video's of Boston, what a sweetie. It seems that we are never prepared for the heartache that comes with the loss of our loved pets.
