Then halfway throughout the day it hit me that that was from the last time that we gave Boston his antibiotics and he had such a struggle with the meds. Before Dave gave the meds he asked me, "You're sure you want to wear that shirt?" cause the medicine was bright pink (I would hold him and Dave would do the syringe work). I said who cares about the shirt, that was the least of my worries.
Jerry called Boston by name and talked about him often. After Boston passed I sat down with Jerry on my finger and explained what happened with our Big Kitty and Jerry listened very intently. Dave says that Jerry has been talking a lot about "Big Kitty" lately - he hasn't refered to Boston as that before, he'd always call him by name.
We all miss him. | Bless your heart! That is precious! |

MISS ME, BUT LET ME GO.
When I come to the end of the road,
and the sun has set me free,
I want no rites in a gloom filled room,
Why cry for a soul that is free?
Miss me a little, but not too long
And not with your head bowed low.
Remember the love that we once shared;
Miss me, but let me go.
For this journey that we all must take
And each must go alone,
It's all part of natures plan...
A step on the road home.
When you are lonely and sick at heart,
Go to the hills we both know.
And bury your sorrows amongst the trees;
Miss me, but let me go.
My deepest sympathy and a prayer for peace to you and your family Sarah.
