i send you my condolences too. i have a book of poems written by Bill Carr. it is "The Best of my Roses". in his poems there is alot of them that deal with best friend and death. My friend died 15 yrs ago to bone marrow cancer. Eliene has breast cancer a few yr previously. i at the requst of her mother and family had to do the opening eulogy. i used one of Bill Carr's poems. it is called "Someone Special"

We laid Monica to rest yesterday..... everyone seemed to be in good spirits considering, but that is what she would have wanted....

It was a beautiful service and a gorgeous area to be laid to rest in, lots of open space for birds to fly over as she would love.

I had to go to her house today to feed her reptiles and look in on everyone else and I had to pray for the strength to go in there to HER house and get through it ok.... I never felt one ounce of sadness or shed one tear while there..... She didnt want tears, and I have to respect that.

Heather my thoughts and prayers have been with you. I also lost a dear friend very suddenly last year and as happened with you, I missed her last phone call. Please know she is still with you in every fond memory you have of her.

Thanks everyone!

I am actually feeling pretty ok about it all now, seeing her actually brought it all home that she is gone, no chance for a phone call from her saying that she was sorry it was a sick joke!

I think with time, we will all heal rather well...... but her hubby needs lots of prayers..... he seems to be doing fine, but only time will tell.

I am so impressed with the grace you have displayed in this very difficult situation. Yes her husband will be hit hard & need support.
How wonderful that she was so loved.
