Arty, you & your wife are wonderful people, never think you failed. I'm sure Joey doesn't think that of you, she stayed with you for 17 years & was very happy about that. The members of Parrot Chatter have helped me so very much, I am a newbie here, I post like the crazy bird lover that I am, The wonderful members of this forum have helped me and Joey more than can be imagined.
I am very grateful for this, I was thinking stupid things, I won't lie to any of you, I was thinking stupid things, I wanted to be with Joey very very badly.
When Gary called me, I woke with my face stuck to the pillow, there was a errie silence within my home, a home where "all the time its hard" to hear the TV over all the bird talk, all of our children knew there was something terribly wrong.
All the kind words, Folks reminding me "the Lord has called for Joey", the phone call from heaven "Gary", Karen's concern from afar, there is to many names, please forgive me as I am new to this group, All of you that reached out to me, its important for all of you to know, without your continued support I more than likely would have done something very stupid, this is how much Joey meant to me.
All of our Children are just that "OUR CHILDREN", Joey was our first, she was Special, Joey opened doors that no human could open.
You folks knew I was in trouble, I am so very grateful to "ALL OF YOU".
I continue to go back and read the words to me from the members of this forum, Quito's Qage, Wildirish...I have spoke with Wildirish for years now on other forums, I admire and respect "Tammy's strength", she is a tough cookie, I have told her before that she is admired by me, I am Blabbing on here....
All of you...ALL....helped me make it through this, I place myself before thee and send a very Sincere Thank You, I wouldn't have made it through this without all of you, Birds are my world, Joey was and is the Queen of all birds.

I am so sorry for your loss. I just saw this post. I know how hard it is to deal with losing one of your babies. We lost our Tango from diabetes not that long ago. We had not had her for as long as you and did not have to go through the agony that you did.

I have been dealing with my own loss since Sunday. My father passed away Sunday morning, so I haven't been around too much.

Please accept Jim and my thoughts and prayers for you and your wife. You two are good hearts.
