Awwwww,poor little Joey! My AV in Brisbane has done a hysterctomy in a Tiel, it wasn't easy either. Praying for her!

For 2 days were were unable to get Joey in to get help.
Joey's doctor is on vacation, we searched for days for another vet.
We gave Joey mild pain relief and I keeped her organ clean and lubricated.
She ate little and drank little.
We reset the prolapse many times only to see it drop back out, today while the wife was at work I reset the organ and held it in place for over an hour, all seemed fine just to find it dropped again within 10 minutes time.
Joey and the wife are currently on there way to the emergency vet as I type.
Many tears have fallen, I have kept her with me most of the time these last 2 days, I am doing my best to think positive but Joey doesn't look very well at all, her little organ doesn't look well either, she is such a small little bird.
Jo Jo is my little girl.....My eyes are leaking...this little one is so very dear to me.....I will do my best to keep all you wonderful folks updated.
Thank you all very kindly for staying with us during this time, your prayers and thoughts are within Joey and us.
Somethin is telling me my little girl is going to fall silent....

Apply vaseline to the tissue- you need to keep it moist or it will die and surgery will be needed. My male amazon has prolapse issues and this is what my vet recomended. He is also on daily dose of metacam- it is very effective for pain.

Joey has fallen silent.
Joey was a very little girl from the beginning.
Joey had many medical problem over the years, seems she was always at the vets.
Joey done everything small, she even whinned to be with me small, she had away to melt my heart.
Joey turned 17 November 12 2006.
