Here she is as cute as a button. I had just made up this summer jumper for her. As soon as she gets a new one on, she has to check it out.

Awe Peggy is beautiful in her pretty jumper. Does she wear one year round? How many does she go through?

Yes she always has a jumper on, as you can see she has no feathers at all on her body, she would chill quite quickly as the general temperatures of the day go up and down.

She would go through about 4 or 5 in a year. She gets them pretty wrecked and dirty.
I have a storage box under her cage full of different colored socks. She has a whole wardrobe lol. They are easy to make, you have to sew them though or she just unravells the whole thing in under and hour. Little devil.

I am pretty lucky to have her too. She goes everywhere I go.
Manau was also a well travelled bird, we used to joke and say, the only bird that has to be driven miles and miles, most of them fly.

I just want to take that little face and cup it in my hands and give her the most tender kiss on her head. I have to admit, she breaks my heart to tears. She sure does look as cute as can be in her little sweaters though.

How does she travel with you? What type of carrier do you use? Do you mean vacations or just out and about each day?

Leigh, I know what you mean. I tear up because I am so happy for Peggy, yet sad that she can't have a normal life. I jsut hope she lives a very long time happy and loved...

I have to say this is so sad.
But the worst part to me is the people who were going to put her to sleep because of it.
