I too love this photo - she looks so sweet & innocent with her belly exposed & that silly feather on her head sticking straight up. Go Peggie! - hope she's well these days & having fun.

Yes I mean on vacations, everywhere as well as about the house day to day.
I have a small travel cage and her night time cage that fits in the back of the car.
Last trip for Peggy was 8 hours. The whole way she kept saying "hello darlin"

I sent Sue (Koky) her first sock buddy for Manau and she has needed them for Peggy as well. They are so easy to make.

MOF, Attitcus (Citron-Crested Cockatoo) wears one too. She doesn't bother hers at all.

Parrotluver has been a steadfast friend and helped with many things for my PBFD birds. She doesn't just send socks, she sends toys etc as well all the way from America to Australia. Peggy loved the last toy, a little coconut fibre hut, she pulled the whole thing to pieces I just received a parcel from Parrotluver in Jan.

You would have to get past the 2 big black dogs that protect her.

She says other things. "what ya doin," "what ya doin up there then", "what's the cocky doin", and her latest "good girl".

Peggy is a possible PBFD bird. well almost 50/50 right now. She has just been tested but the likely scenirio is positive.

You can check out the link on my signature or look on the forum for Peggy, you will find the story.

She is a darling, I love her. I will look after her till she is suffering then I will do the right thing by her. ATM she is healthy and happy, I am happy and that is what matters.

My ultimate aim is to educate everyone on PBFD, make them aware that species are dying out from this disease. Not to be complacant about it, try to find a vaccine for it and help those birds suffering from the disease.

The last I read on this was that Dr Ritchie was very very close. It may take a while to get to Australia once its available. I hope there will be a cure for Peggy. She has really touched my heart.
