I never thought she would get that far but she did. I am now very wary of leaving her in the room in an open cage.

She was left in her room overnight, with her cage open. She can't fly but she can certainly climb. I just didn't think she would attack my mobile phone charger wire, but she did. Luckily it was not switched on. I turn everything off at the power point. A warning to me though. Gotta watch Peggy now.

Needless to say, my mobile phone is now dead because I can't recharge it, nor can I afford a new recharger

Do you have a car charger? Those work faster anyway.

No, don't have one of them. Unfortunately no mobile phone at the moment. I will have to do some rewiring of my charger to an old recharger to get it going.

I am cracking up laughing here. Man that bird is paying out big time. I asked her if she did it? She said ..."who's a good girl" I repeated, Peggy did you chew my phone charger? She said ..."hello darlin"

I just thank the lord it wasn't switched on. She is one lucky girl and so am I.

She's probably tired of you recieving phone calls. Data does something similar, as does Jean, anything electrical that I pay any attention to is automatically the devil, including the little silver thing i talk into to communicate with the outside world. She is a lil cockatiel, but she has attempted to not only dismantle my imac, but when ever I'm on the phone longer than 15 minutes she starts screaming, dancing, doing everything possible to get my attention and if I lean over, she squacks into the phone to tell the other person to go away, or if she likes em she sings. She's a clingy girl.

TV channel changers are the new toy here. I have replaced many. I have put it in a drawer now and hopefully Athena won't go there! LOL

oh wow Peggy, I guess the beak is in fine working order. My tv aerial is somewhat modified at present, needless to say it no longer gets any signal.

Haa they are little devils aye. Me being on the phone is her worst nightmare. She starts of chattering but soon turns to screeching when I have been on there a while.
What's even worse, she now mimics the phone ringing sound. She is just a tad out on her pitch, so I know it's her and not really my phone. Won't be long though and I will have my own Birdie/phone. I don't mind when I pick her up the part I listen into but the part for speaking isn't a real turn on.
