Just thought I would pass this on. A friend who has an amazon had the jungle talk hid a treat toy in his cage. He got his head stuck in it and the chain got wrapped around his head while he was trying to get out. Thankfully his dad was close by.

Oh my gosh! How horrible! Do you have a picture of what this toy looks like. Because I'm not familar with it.

I have one for Ollie, but I only use it outside of her cage when I'm supervising. I don't let her 'play' with it, just get treats out of it. When the treats are gone, the toy comes down.

I was seriously considering buying that the other week. I can't believe this just happened. I could picture Molly getting her head stuck in it but never thought about the chain.

That toy has been around forever. I've never heard a bad thing about it. Wow. I guess no matter how much we feel toys are safe, birds can find a way to get themselves in trouble. Thanks goodness he is okay.
