Default I am impressed - TFAL and PTFE bird safety cautions

I am looking to replace my deep fryer. In the search for the perfect model, I visited TFAL's website to look into their new line of Emeril appliances. Right there on the very first page, they have a link for bird safety, that will bring up the following page:

T-FAL US - T-FAL Non-Stick Safety

While they also claim you would have to have multiple PTFE pans all heated at 750 degrees, they are very careful to explain that birds don't fair so well with this stuff, and have made it a feature on their site.

I'm impressed.

My grandma gave my mom a teflon skillet (not sure what brand) for Christmas, and right on the packaging it had a parrot warning. I was impressed also! It also was a lesson to my parents that I don't just make up all of this stuff that is (potentially) bad for Ollie!
