Is it allright for birds to play with old keys? I handed Ruby 2 to play with but then I got to wondering if they are ok?

I honestly dont think they are safe. Metals are toxic. Try the baby keys from the dollar store. My fids love them.

I wouldn't chance it. Ollie's grabbed mine a couple times, but I don't let her chew on them. She has some plastic keys from the baby section at walmart- they make noises when she pushes the buttons.

Most keys can cause heavy metal poisoning, they do make bird safe keys. They are ionized aluminium, I have about 3000 of them left from my bird toy business days.

Honestly I'd be glad to! The boxes are taken up much needed space.
