So relieved to hear Jack is doing well....what a scare! Here is a photo of a Philodendrun(toxic) and a Pothos(NonToxic) for comparison.

I stand corrected......Pothos can be potentially Toxic also....several lists have it on their "Not Safe for Pets"

Pothos is toxic if ingested in large quantities because it contains calcium oxalate. This will cause burning in the mouth and the sap may also be irritating to the skin.

Im sorry Shane, I was spelling it wrong. Thanks Lori! From what I gathered in my panicked research, both are toxic, the Pothos can be a little more tolerated. My guy came out just fine though! The panic I had though was frightening!! I think my husband and I suffered the worst of it all.

Time to take that plant and put it out of harms way.
Maybe also check all your plants to the toxic listing here on PC.
Good Luck.

that's what i did... since i'm no good with plant names (esp. in english), i just took ALL my plants and put them in the bedroom - when the fids are out, the bedroom door is closed... needless to say, that my bedroom looks more like a jungle than anything else....

I'm glad that everything's ok, Shane! I would be worried sick too, and I was when I first read this thread.
