I ran over and there was only a pice about half the size of a dime (maybe a little smaller) taken out of the leaf.
I agree with Gary, keep an eye on him. I also think he would have had to eat a larger quantity to be sick. Please let us know how he's doing.

Okay, thank you. I have never been so scared about something in my entire life. I am keeping a very close eye on him. Even if it won't be devastating to him, I still feel so bad, now he has to feel sick because of my stupidity. I am sure he will truly enjoy the extra cuddles though

shane... hear you - valo bit a philodendron leaf a while back... he didn't actually bite a piece out of it and swallowed it, but just bit the leaf... did the same thing, called the vet (was told the same thing) and researched - he was fine in the end, i wasn't since i was totally worked up and couldn't sleep (of course i had to stay on the couch next to the cage to watch him)...

glad to hear that he's fine... give him some scritches from us

This happened to me also. It turned out that my plant wasnt even a philodendron, it was a pythos and they look almost identical. Can you take a pic of the plant for me, leaf and vine?

ok. I was freaking out too, so I understand how you feel. My guy escaped from his cage while we were out an got to a plant hanging from the ceiling! So we didnt even know how long he was out. I did quick ref on the plant and discovered I had a pythos. Maybe by chance, thats what you have. Either way I dont think he got enough to get sick over. Try to chill out!

I am starting to calm down now, seeing him goofin around like usual makes me feel good. I am sure he is super tired by now, it's 11:09pm, I have been too afraid to let him go to bed just yet. I think he will be fine though so I think we can both go to bed now. Thank you everyone soo much for your help, support, concern, advice...
What would I do without you guys?

Oh, and leighrivera, what is the full name for pythos? I couldn't find it on google images?
