good morning all! i just woke up and got breakfast for the birds. artemis was lovely as always, and said his hellos to me. he seems to be doing just fine, but of course we will be keeping an eye on him today.

andi, artemis really isn't into misting and showers, but he loves a dish that he can splash in. only sometimes though will he use the dish when i put it in his cage.

bea, thank you! i am glad to hear that it mostly likely isn't disease, that was my main concern. i will be taking your advice, i think.

everyone, thank you SO much for you comments, advice, and concerns. you are so very much my family and i knew i could count on you all for help. have a wonderful friday!

make sure you have a health check done on him to rule out a ear infection, I had a Quaker loose feathers at his ear and he did have a infection. also many times bird will loose feathers by their ear from rubbing on a toy etc.. the feathers at the ear are very thin. its always best to have a health check done to rule anything out.

Awesome. I'm glad to hear that he is doing good. Mine prefer to bathe in a dish as well.
