Default In an emergency you may have to......

be efficient in toweling your bird to examine the problem successfully. These two videos are great if you ever need to. Most birds will be a challenge and these First Aid videos have some good tips. If you learn one thing from them, you could save the life of your bird.

fortunately, ivy thinks a towel or blanket means PLAYTIME lol! and artemis is pretty easy to "catch" usually. i know some birds are horribly scared of towels though, it's very important for sure in case of emergencies.

Yes, when I am with my birds, it oftentimes is with a towel or washcloth playing Peek-a-boo or the towel in my lap so if they poop it is sometimes not on me. LOL They get used to seeing the towel and it doesn't frighten them when you have a reason to towel them.
