Okay, I am alittle CORN FUSED, is it NATE or MIKE, one screen name 2 different people...LOL
Thank you all for the very caring replies.
Chance will never get home made pumpkins seeds again (EVER).
I changed all water dishes today, I washed them, rinsed them and offered bottled water.
Chance is doing much better.

It's just Nate, Arty. Not sure who Mike is?

Don't blame you about the pumpkin seeds. If there's any risk they could be the cause....well, there's lots of other treats, right?

I'm so glad Chance is doing better. As far as the water goes have you thought about adding an RO system? Much easier then having to buy bottled water all the time.

Mike is Graehstone and he lives about as far away from Nate as you can get in the USA-San Diego!

I'm really glad Chance will be OK. I can't stand to think of any bird being ill but I have a real soft spot for Quakers!

I'm so sorry Arty. It's heartbreaking when we can't find out what is wrong when they are so ill. I hope your avian vet can help Chance.

Hugs & Prayers

Again Chance weighed in at 104 Grams this morning, So we are very pleased with the Vets work, We have well water here, tested each year, the most pure water a person can find, if a person digs down a foot you will find its all sand, our well water tests prove the water is PURE.
Rose Ann mentioned something about investing in a water purification system this spring.
Hey, Thanks for the replies

Oh, thanks for the update. I continue to be so sad until I hear good news! A water purifier sounds like a great consideration.

Good news Arty. I am so glad she is doing better!

I also have well water here, but don't trust it. Our neighbor was having a very slow water recovery and had his well dynamited to clear deposits and residue in the feeder veins and the result of the blast turned my running water to MUD for 3 months.

It's a pain to have one more chore to do twice a week but I no longer give our well water to any of my pets. We now bring in bottled city water and filter it before giving it to the animals.
