#27 | | | Chance ate well at breakfast, the wife said she is also giving her antibiotics.
She is not worsening, this is a good sign.
She is fluffed, but sometimes when we distract her-her feather's lay down, she is still dazed and acts tired, she stays close to the ceramic heat coil.
When she is done eating my wife brings her to her shoulder and chance wraps herself close to me wifes lips for kisses, this has been a norm since she has came to us, this is a good sign.
My wife and I spoke this morning and she might have found the problem and if she is correct then this will supports Garys thoughts that this may be a bacterial issue.
My wife attends a bird fare in StillWater, Mn, toys, seed, birds, and such get together, well she bought a small bag of (home prepared) pumpkin seeds.
Chances is are only child that enjoys these seeds, when these seeds are found within a MIX, Chance will pick through and eat all pumpkin seeds, soooo the wife bought a bag for her....She thinks this is the cause of her illness, the crop culture should prove to be the issue, so far the blood tests that have come back show no signs of a problem.
Its a waiting game now, My wife is drawn to chance more than normal, she is getting plenty of rest, but I am also seeing Chance with my wife more than usual, there simply is nothing compared to the love given from a MOTHER. |

#28 | | | Chance ate a well at lunch, she is gaining weight, she was weighed before eating at 103 grams, after 106 grams, my wife is hand feeding her Kaytee Exact, the medications are snuck in with the mix.
Chance continued her training of the wife by telling her to sing, and the wife sings for her...LOL
As I said above, there's is nothing...nothing like the love given by a MOTHER. |
