Jessalyn, some of it is way above my head too. Other parts I have read over and over and finally got a sense of understanding.

Unfortunately Peggy does have it, she had the tests done, they are 100% positive. Look at it this way, at least she is one of the lucky ones to have a happy caring home. There are a lot of poor birds out there with it who are not so fortunate dying in a miserable way.

You know what the sadest thing is. People are not taking this seriously. Because it is not endemic in their country.
One day, when it is as prevelant in other countries all will remember this thread, remember me Peggy and Manau and think...ahhh if only we had listened.

I have been banned from forums in my attempts to educate, I have been shunned for keeping these birds. When you read the facts, when you see it like I do, you realize like I have, it is a lost cause, we cannot stop it, not here, it is everywhere.

When all see it in their back yards, know their birds can catch it just like that....then I will be finished. Then I will stop.

Changing my sig right now. I need to be MORE noticeable.

I don't understand why you would be banned?! That's insane... do people really think this couldn't possibly spread one day? I think what you're doing is such a wonderful thing... education is never a bad thing, and we all need to pay attention to what's going on with parrots all over the world. You just keep doing what you're doing and when you get frustrated, come here and we'll give you a hug (or a boot in the arse, depending on what you need LOL)!!!!!
