Of course we are in the developmental stage, but this is what we are thinking about.
Members may start one thread in the appropriate sub-forum for each bird they have to keep a running journal of day to day life with their bird. Each thread should be titled with the name of the bird and what kind it is. EXAMPLE: ROSY’S JOURNAL - Scarlet Macaw
When Members update the bird's journal they would continue with the original thread. Members can update their birds thread/journal as much as they would like, daily, weekly, etc. Members can post stories, pictures, behavior changes or concerns, diet changes or concerns, new toys they like, vet visits, weights, molting, good days, bad days, hormonal changes (you get the idea) post anything they would like to journal about their birds.
Members may want to welcome comments and/or advice from other members in the bird’s journal and this should be posted at the end. If Members want to keep the journal clear of any other Member comments this should be posted at the end of
each entry; If a Member doesn't post whether they would like comments and/or advice from other members it would be assumed they would like comments and Members may feel free to post to the journal entry. Not only will the Bird Journals help members to keep all their birds information together for them to refer back to it, but will also help people searching for information about diet, personality and day to day life living with a certain species to be able to read the individual journals. The Bird Journals are just an extra. Members should feel free to start a thread anywhere at anytime in any forum they would like also.
What do you think?
