Default Vinegar - A Natural Approach

Vinegar - A Natural Approach to Avian Management

Great Article! I've read a lot of articles about ACV, but hadn't seen this one before.

Great article!. We clean the cages every so often with vinegar and power wash them. I also clean the cages with Dawn dish soap for quick clean ups.

I use white vinegar with several drops of lavender oil for clean up, and ac vinegar internally for the birds... usually I soak the hot peppers in the ac vinegar first, letting all that vitamin C get extracted into the vinegar. Then I spoon it over their food.

Yup, my mothers started every day with a few swallows of warm water and vinegar.

What a great idea for a homemade hot-sauce for the fids! Gonna try that for sure. I use a half-and-half white vinegar and warm water solution to clean cages with.

I have in the past used Vinegar for Kasper's water. It's best if you are going to use it in the water dish to go to a health food store and purchase it there. I believe the brand is called: Mother Earth, its an apple cider vinegar.
