Default Pellet Choices

For those of you that feed pellets do you feel it's better to feed a few different brands or do you just give them one brand?

I change brands often. My main dry mix is Ultimate Blend from Bird Paradise but I like to keep it mixed up just in case something happens. So they won't be afraid to try new things.

Like every once in awhile I will sneak in some fruity colored pellets for Zoey because she loves them. lol I actually have a fairly long list of pellets I use.

I mix two or three kinds with their other food or they won't eat pellets at all.

I feed one kind, but that's because pellets only make up about 5% of Eve's diet, the rest is fresh. Eve will eat any colored pellet, but will not eat harrisons or other more natural pellets. I'm ok with this since it is just a small amount.

Ruby gets Pretty Bird daily select. As I said in the other thread (I hadn't gotten to this one yet! ha!) she doesn't eat any, but I hate not to give them to her. Maybe I will try to mix them in with her other food like Susan said.

I always mix kinds.I have some that prefer one over the other so this way everyone gets a little bit of what they really like.

I mix sizes and colors, usually Lafebers and Zupreem. Mine isn't too picky about any food, but I do like to mix it up a little so he doesn't get sick of it.

Ollie is the only birdie to eat pellets. I feed only Zupreem fruitblend because she won't eat anything else. I wish she would eat a variety just in case the Zupreem plant blows up but if I worried about all the 'what ifs' I'd have a complete melt down!
