Dayna - just trying to get this thread back on topic. Seems it has gone in another direction.

Thanks so much for sharing your story. I have learned a lot just from this thread and the information which you and Camille posted. If you have time, I would love to see the picture of your little lovebird now. You definitely know your stuff and have a really fabulous mentor in Dr. Ford.

Whoever did that should not be allowed to even come near a birds jugular! OH MY GOSH! that is horrible.

Jugular draws are very safe if you know what you are doing.
