What do you guys think of this first aid kit. It's on bird.com, and it's $29.99

1 - Bird Kit Case

1 - Bottle Styptic Powder (toenail/feather bleeding)

1 - Pair Latex Gloves (personal protection)

1 - Bottle Eye & Skin Wash 1 Oz. (flush eyes or wounds)

1 - 1" x 6 yd. Sterile Gauze Bandage (wrap wound areas)

I think you could make a more complete one yourself. Here is something we have here: Avian Emergency Kit. I'm guilty of not having a very good one put together...I need to get that taken care of.

I agree with Camille. You could probably put one together yourself....may not cost less, but you would get more for your money.

i agree with camille and susan - you can put a more complete one together yourself in no time.... and the box is quite small, it's hard to add something to it

I wouldn't know how to use half the things in that kit. But I guess it would always be nice to have on hand. The styptic powder has come in handy more than once at our house.

We bought a couple first aid kits from Costco at 24.99 each. we have one for ourselves and for the birds. We had to add to the birds kit: styptic powder and some other needed items, but they are awesome kits and come in handy.

You can find them at Costco.com, type in first aid in the search bar on the site and it is called the notebook first aid kit.
