Default Kaytee Exact Organic Diet

Has anyone tried this?

Kaytee Exact Organic Diet
*Certified organically grown ingredients
*Free of synthetic chemicals and pesticides
*Great for birds with chemical sensitivities
*Fortified with added vitamins and minerals

Kaytee Exact combines wholesome grains, proteins, vitamins and minerals into a high-nutrient formula that takes the place of ordinary seed-based diets.

Over years of careful testing, breeders and researchers found that Exact supplies superior nutrition. Made in a size and shape your bird will readily accept, each nugget is exactly formulated to ensure important nutrients won't go uneaten. Since there are no hulls, there is no mess!
Same great Exact nutrition – but with certified organic corn, wheat, soybeans, oats, flax seed and vitamin and mineral supplements. Perfect for the sensitive bird needing food free of chemical treatments, or the bird owner who prefers a product created through earth-friendly means. Designed to be your bird's primary diet.

No I haven't. I know that was the extent of your question but of course I have to say...lol.....I have to say even though for example, Harrison's doesn't sound very appetizing this sounds even worse LOL.

I just can't justify feeding 85% of either food to a bird for a lifetime. I would do it with a malnutritioned animal or sick though, until they had good lab levels and showed weight gain. And I would probably give them if I were the type of person that didn't like working in the kitchen and constantly having to do "food".....

I'm not crazy about the statement "needing food free of chemical treatments".

What does that mean? Of course they infer pesticides but meanwhile this food is full of chemical treatment. In my definition of chemical (man made) ingredients.

So this suggests that THESE chemicals won't hurt birds they way it's written in my opinion. And that's just not "proven" and some (me)believe they do hurt birds. I'm saying this diplomatically but ....

But then again, I'm sensitive to pet food labels from years in the pet store business and having allergic bulldogs.
