I saw it before and it did help.
None of my birds will eat greens by themselves.
I now cook with the greens in stuff.

That site is very informative. I haven't found one thing I question.

My favourite part was....

Some of the safe houseplants that we can grow for birds are asters, ferns, spider plants, geraniums, pansies, nasturtiums, marigolds, dandelions, and a real treat for parrots to eat, day lilies! Many parrots eat flowers in the wild and indeed, they are the main component of the diet of some avian species.
I'll get them some day lilies & see if the budgies will even try.

I also have had no luck getting either of mine to eat fresh greens. I do add them to their Harrison muffins, but I still would prefer if they ate them fresh. So I tried something new this morning when I was doing up fresh veggies. Normally I dice them but today I pulsed them right up to itty bitty pieces. Right before I served them I added some small diced papaya, banana and cantaloupe. I put the fresh veggie mix on top of their Harrison muffin and was pleasantly surprised to see that they both ate it! So this is a first for fresh greens to get eaten!!

I pulsed up carrots, kale, dandelion greens, broccoli, red pepper, jalapeños and some fresh garlic. Oh I added a little fresh corn because I knew that would appeal to both of them enough to get them to look at the food.

What a way to serve those greens by adding a little fruit flavor. Great idea.

Try greens with crunchy stems (romaine, Swiss Chard, nappa, bok choy), they like those a lot.
