Default Re: Giving injections to one's parrot

Hey everyone... SMALL UPDATE !!! LOL. Max and Ruby made it out to Long Island today !! YEAH !! I met them at the train station and took them to the vet. I had a surprise for them.. Well, for Max anyway and Heidi and her staff.. I had Stella (our Vasa) with us !!!

AND Max had Ruby *see-- I got the spelling right finally !!! totally checked out from toe nails to head, spine and all.... He can fill you in on all the details later. They are on the train heading home. I had to drop them off at the train station, rush to get cat food for our rescue and I am heading out the door in 2 minutes to visit a good friend who is cooking dinner for us... (That NEVER happens.. I am usually not invited places.. hmmm have to wonder why?? LOL) ANYWAY......

I took pictures of Max giving Ruby his shot, of Stella the Vasa... I will post them later if I can.

It was wonderful Meeting the two of them. It is nice that people have boards like this to make connections. I also thank the people here for offers of help with financial assistance. That doesn't happen often at all !! I am working with a woman who has a $1200 vet bill on cats she is NOT keeping- she just arranged transport to the vet and the rescue and we can't raise $20 !! Quite amazing.

ANYWAY-- THANK YOU ALL FOR BEING HERE !! I will post later when I get back....

later all.
