Default Excessivly Quiet

As you know, I switched Echo's age to a play top and her food to Roudybush pellets. For the past few days, she has been really, really quiet. She doesn't talk in the mornings anymore like usual. My mom said when she came down stairs she doesn't even bark. She hasn't been talking at all, or making a peep at that. All she does all day is stil at the top of her cage or on top pf her play top perch and rest. All day long. When I come over, she doesn't get all excited, though she does let me pets her and give her kisses. Her eyes look clear, but I'm still really worried. I think I'm going to put her back on the seed she was eating, it's really good quality and she likes it. What is yall's opinion?

Put her back on the old seed and slowly mix the Roudybush pellets in a little each day.

Good advice Susan. It's not wise to switch foods suddenly. Birds can starve themselves if they don't recognize their new fare as food.

Dom, let us know if this helps her demeanor.

Thanks! She's been eating them, as well as all the fresh I give her. I'm going to do what they suggested at the store, feed both. Supposedly, birds who are on Roudybush should be fed seed as well because its low in fat and carbs. So, I'm heading over to the store tomorrow to get their seed. Life with birds can be so.... interesting...
