Default bee pollen?

Where does one get it? Is this a Whole Foods kind of thing?

Just find a hive and stick you hand right on in it.

Have you looked at the drug store? Or maybe healthfood store?

Bee Pollen can be found at most health food stores. But the best you can give your birds is Avian Trio. Its Bee Polen ,Propolis, And Royal Jelly. It really makes their colors pop, boost the immune system, and increases their appetites for picky eaters. The last I checked Todds had it. They havea 1-800 number if you want to call them.

I get it at my local farmers market, from the local honey guy. It is really cheap that way and fresh. Likewise when the farmers market is not open I go to the local apple picking farms and their stores typically have bee pollen. Otherwise you can get it at health food stores, or online. If kept in the fridge, it will last indefinitely.

I ordered some and it just came in today. Looks and smells good and the price was great. How often should I use this?

I give my passerines a small treat cup weekly and mix it with the gloop for my parrots after I warm it up, they would not eat it by itself as the passerines would. It's a great source of natural vitamins and minerals.

I mix it in mash or use it as sprinkles on top of Eve's breakfast. Eve will eat it by it self, like itty bitty granola.
