This is what I found for humans, if it were me I wouldn't use it.

One of P. ginseng's most common side-effects is the inability to sleep.[14] Other side-effects can include nausea, diarrhea, euphoria, headaches, epistaxis, high blood pressure, low blood pressure, and mastalgia.[15]

I take it you don't have a local source for honey? If you do they will have the bee pollen as well.

On advice from my AV I have given Ginseng for a specific problem. If you do give it, it's not something you want to give for longer than two weeks

well I found some! Sprinkle it on food? The stuff I have is like a butter almost. Wow is it sweet!!! I put a little on top of a cookie for each of the birds. Benji (oddly enough) and Sophie ate their cookie like normal.
Cricket flipped his over and ate from the side it wasn't. Zoey ignored hers altogether.
I guess I should try to blend some in with the mash?

Sounds like Jim has something like "Real Raw Honey" that has pollen and bits of wax on top and is all creamy and yellow. But you can buy pollen that looks like yellow crumbles.

Yes, it's the one that comes in granules but I prefer the natural unprocessed powder form, just like the bees produce.

Yeah my crumbles are straight from the bees, and not messed with.
