Your bird is just so pretty. I just have to say that first. Second I cant wait to hear what the results are tomarrow. I just keep checking on this thing to see if you have heard anything new. I just want to keep checking to make sure everything is alright. Anyways cant wait till tomarrow for the results. I hope everything is ok. Wish you luck.~Jenna

Anything could be an irritant to a bird's delicate respiratory system... any kind of sprays, a strong perfume, fumes from cooking or a disinfectant, mold (even from inside the walls), etc. It's practically impossible to determine what could have done unless one notices while something is happening (like putting on a spray deodorant while the bird is perching in the shower curtain pole a couple of feet away from us, that kind of thing).

Let's see what the results show today.

well, i just called the vet to check on the result status...and the results STILL aren't back yet. it will be a week tomorrow! i was told results would be back in 72 hours so who knows what's going on, the wait is killing me.

i feel horrible because i must have hit ivy's gag reflex this morning when i gave her meds and she barfed up her breakfast. she's been really good about taking it too which made me feel even worse

well, i don't use any sprays in the house except for my GSE/water cleaner, no perfumes/spray deodorants...i hope there's no mold, our house is only a few years old. this just drives me NUTS!

Oh Emily, I'm so sorry! Poor little Ivy. If it makes you feel any better the wait is killing us too! Be brave and hang in there!
