well, we have vents in every room, but she isn't directly under them or anything. our A/C hasn't clicked on much lately since it's been so cool and we keep the thermostat at 80. are you thinking dust?

Emily, do you have any Gold Trees, punk trees or Orange Trees in your neighborhood? My dog has airborne allergies and is scratching like crazy-had to give her prednisone to relieve her. Then it rained and she was fine. Now she is scratching again. My car was covered in yellow pollen and all the citrus trees are blooming again. Do you have the a/c on and an air purifier near her cage/stand? You might try it and see if it makes a difference.....

the vet didn't seem to think it was serious, so that eased my nerves. hopefully the culture will come back clean.

i am sensitive to certain kinds of pollen, i guess ivy could be too!

I think they can be more sensitive. Skittles, our GW, has allergies every fall and spring. We get the allergy filters and change them often.

Furnace Filters, Allergy A/C Filters, Air Conditioning Filters, Air Conditioner Filters and Furnace Filters - Allergy Relief Store

no, we don't have many trees outside of palm trees. we live in a fairly new neighbor hood so there are a bunch of saplings...not sure what kind they are though. the AC is on yes, just hasn't cut on much lately since it's been so cool out. the air purifier is next to her play gym.

OK, good brainstorming here, we may eventually come up with something that makes you go "YES" that might be it!
