Default AviStraint

New product LINK: AviStraint

When I first looked at this product I thought, NO... then as I gave it some thought the more I could see the possibilities that this may be an alternative or even a better alternative than a towel for vet exams, venipuncture, injections, anesthetic recovery etc. where wing restraint is of utmost importance. Many a time I have needed an extra set of hands when giving meds, or doing a procedure they wouldn't tolerate, etc.

Who knows....Bird Owners in 20-30 years may say "People used to use towels when...."

What's your thoughts about this?

Karen, I think we are going to order a couple of sizes and see how they work.

It certainly looks better than that awful, mean, bad, scary towel! I like the idea that it wouldn't be quite as hot either. Poor Ruby comes out of a nail trim panting and feathers messed. I wouldn't want to be the one that put her in it though. I will ask my vet and show him the site. Thanks, as always, Ruby and Jessalyn
