ParrotChatter’s Vision is to provide a place where bird lovers can gather to communicate and learn from one another by sharing their stories and experiences about all things avian, keeping the best interest of the bird's health and welfare foremost.

If you are concerned regarding the medical condition of your bird, you should consult with an avian veterinarian of your choice and not use this Board and the advice/opinions of its members as a substitute for same.

Discriminatory communication of any kind which is disrespectful toward religion, race, color, age, creed, sexual preference or financial status will not be tolerated. Communication meant to embarrass, demean, harass, threaten or is invasive of a member's privacy is not allowed. We ask that political photos, posts or discussions be limited to those issues that are relevant to bird welfare. Adult posting material is prohibited to include, but not limited to, nudity, partial nudity, or adult humor and profanity. You must be at least 13 years old to be a member of ParrotChatter.

Advertising (post or link) any animal for sale will not be allowed. There certainly may be a time when members have a friend, relative or neighbor that needs to re-home a bird for a legitimate reason and you may have personal knowledge of the birds' situation and health. If so, you may post that type of information and then ask people to private message you for more details, the owner's contact information, etc.

Advertising or linking to other Bird/Parrot related message boards in posts, signatures or private messaging will not be allowed. Articles are encouraged in posts that support our vision.

If you feel a post is not appropriate, please contact a Moderator immediately to advise of same or use the REPORT FEATURE. Please do not add your own commentary or engage the poster(s) in further dialog as this generally escalates the problem. We reserve the right to ban a member’s access who in any way violates the rules or reputation of Parrot Chatter. The Administrators and Moderators have the right to remove, edit, move or close any thread for any reason, without prior notice and/or explanation. Discussing corrective action on the Board will not be tolerated.

ParrotChatter, its Administrators, Moderators and Forum Coordinators neither control nor assume any liability for the information available on its message boards and chat rooms. Any opinions, advice, statements, services, offers or other information or content presented or disseminated on any forum of this Board or in any chat room are those of the respective authors who are solely liable for their content.

ParrotChatter makes no ownership claims to any material you post or transmit and agrees that all submitted materials, text, graphics and files remain the sole property of their creator, with individual exceptions such as contest entries specifically labeled as such when solicited. Copying or modifying any material posted or uploaded to Parrot Chatter is prohibited without the express written consent from the owner of said material. You specifically agree and acknowledge that in the event you are banned or you resign, surrender or abandon your membership for any reason, ParrotChatter shall not have any obligation or duty to amend or delete any of your posts or to remove you from the membership roster.

With each post, your IP address is recorded when you browse ParrotChatter. The owners of this forum also reserve the right to reveal your identity (or any other related information collected on this service) in the event of a formal complaint or legal action arising from any situation caused by your use of this board.
