Hi all, I just wanted to share about Z. She has been with us for a month and a half now and she is awesome! She is sooo vocal. Not really saying anything too distinct yet though. We think we hear hello and what? But not sure. But man, those whistles, beeps, chirps, and happy screams! She loves my daughter and I. She is warming up to my son, but hubby, nothing. Although he can get a little closer without hearing the blood curddling growl. She'll take a treat from him, whistle back to him and step up for him (of course growling LOUDLY the whole time) but she does it. All in due time I suppose. She is very content to play on her hoopball. I have rigged a rope from her ball to her cage so she can come and go as she chooses. And she has her portable stand as well that is usually next to us when we are on the computer. She doesn't have fits for attention and is very content to play by herself. It will be very interesting when our new puppy comes in September!
She will have that poor little teddy bear running in circles I imagine! "Sit, wanna go out? Lay down, supper time" argh, I can hear it all now. Hee Hee.
She loves to hang upside down from my daughters and my fingers. But I don't like it as it hurts when she needs to get back up! LOl. She is awesome! I can't believe how much she has added to our lives! Enjoy your evening!

I'm gald she's doing so well!Yea, I've got the grey-bonding issue too. Echo bit my mom hard on the lip the other night. It does take time. Remember she's only been there a month and a half. I still can't believe it's been that long though!

It sounds like things are going great, especially for having her home for less than 2 months! Give her relationship with your hubby time- I'm sure she'll eventually accept him. Ollie didn't meet my bf until she was almost a year old. It took many, many months, but she now loves him and he can do almost anything with her that I can.

Does the entire front of your cage swing open? I'll bet that's pretty handy!

Ouch Dominique! Sorry to her about your moms lip! I am hoping Z comes around so hubby can at least transport her from one spot to another without the ruckus she makes!

Hi Camillle, yep the whole front swings wide open. I do love it. Especially when I fill up a pie plate for her bath!

She is adorable, and I love her amazing setup. I know greys are all different, but my brother's CAG started speaking at just under a year old. She is now nearly 2 and is an amazing talker. They can teach her to say anything by repeating it a lot, and it 2 days, she has it. Give your dear baby a kiss and scritch from me!
