Ok, this is getting on my nerves! Winkie will NOT eat his veggies unless he is on ME (my shoulder). He's done this from day 1 & it's really starting to bug me now, lol. Maybe it's the dead arm I get when I feed him that's ticking me off.
Do/have any of y'alls birds done that?

None of my birds do it. I had one try, but I used to bring her in the kitchen to eat with us. That solved the problem and ultimately she and the others now eat in their cages with relish.

Our tiel Zippy used to only eat people food while he was on us. We'd have to set a piece on our shoulder, or feed him from a spoon. Now he doesn't care where it is, he dives right in. Provided it's something he likes.
