Let's hope the Too's find a great home! Are there any bird groups or rescue groups in the New Jersey area that you can notify so they can get the word out about this, to help see that he gets a good home?

sounds like a bargain... multiple toos and a cage for $700! Sometimes I just don't like people very much!

Lisa, if you can have them contact me as I am the Chairman for the South Jersey Bird Club Parrot Adoption Program. I have many approved homes on my waiting list that would be interested in adopting these toos.

I called the number listed and they didn't answer. It was posted to Craigs' List the beginning of April, they may have already been sold. I will try again and see if I can get them to answer. I will ask if they are still available then ask them if they'd consider surrendering them to a parrot shelter I guess. It just makes me SOOOOOO mad!!!!! This is why I never go to Craigs' list!!! I also saw an amazon and a grey in my home town available to the best offer! I am just beside myself!!!!! (where's that fire breathing simley when you need it?!?)

I went looking for a cage for our found little parakeet friend and this is what happens. Never again!!!

Some people on CL can be bad... We ahve been 'blessed' with a bounty of flaggers who look into stuff like that and then decide if it needs to be flagged down or not.

I personally like CL. We got Echo from there; his owner adored him and she just couldn't give him enough time. It isn't CL's fault but more of the careless people there.
