This boy is hysterical. He roots like a piglet does. He loves sitting on my chest getting loved up on. If I stop he'll run to my hands and root into them. If I ignore it he'll move up to my chest, my chin, my armpits or where ever he can push his beak into.
Once I give in and begin giving him his scritches, he makes all types of baby noises. Oh and don't dare take you attention from him because then he will give little nips. He demands undivided attention! Scritch in the same place to long or in the wrong place and he'll grab your fingers to move them where he wants. If he can't move them, he'll nip.
Try to put this boy back in his cage. Thats a feat all in itself! If he even thinks that is where he is headed, he graps on to whatever he can with his beak. Actually get him in and he's like velcro when trying to get him on a perch inside the cage.
He's just a trip.
Now with Sammy, he has decided that he like for me to scritch the back of his neck but only when he's in the mood. He loves being out of his cage, go figure. But when I want him to step up, he turns it into a game of catch me if you can. He'll run across the top of the cage from one side to the other to avoid "stepping up".
With Sammy, I enjoy feeding him baby food. He's a 4 year old adult but loves baby food. I prefer to think that he likes to pamper me by letting me do this.
Tutu my grey. Well Tutu is a full time turd to anyone with boobs. But I still do what I can everyday to get a kiss from him. When he's out he'll crawl off his cage to the floor (telling himself to go back the entire time). Then he's off to chase my toes. I have no doubts that if he caught me, he'd go for blood on my toes or where ever else he could latch on to.
He does enjoy whistling and babbling back and forth with Sammy. |
