What's on the menu today?

I seem to be stuck for ideas to spice up breakfast and dinner. I thought maybe a thread about what everyone else is having for breakfast and dinner may give us all some new ideas. My two will eat very little fresh, so it really limits the variety around here.

Breakfast:
3 cubes of mango
2 slices banana
2 grapes
slivered carrots & corn
whole grain cinnamon waffle pieces

Followed shortly by:
Birdie bread where I hide the veggies; sweet potatoes, dandelion greens, carrots, etc.

Dinner will be some veggie pasta with tomato sauce and a diced veggie.

So what's on your menu today?

We are having Taboule and veggies.
1 bag of mixed veggies
1 cup cooked squash
3/4 cup chopped nuts
1 box of Near East Taboule

Cook Taboule as box says, then add the rest. Serve warm.

I got this from the Healthy Bird Cookbook. Yum!

I have never heard of Taboule, what is it?

Breakfast today was:

Parrot cooking mix, nutri pro, pellets, sunflower, oranges, banana. (my egg and toast)

Supper was: Pellets, 1 seed ball snack each, peanut butter toast (half a slice shared by 5)

desert, left over hand feeding formula. ( about 20-30ml left over) only a taste between 5 but they got a share so they happy.

its a middle eastern salad type thing... absoluley delicious....

heres a recipe i grabbed off goodgle for an idea of whats in it, although there are many variations and the premade stuff from the box is different of course.

Sounds interesting. Where would I find it in the store? Is it a rice or pasta?

It is delicious! I find my by the rice. It comes in a box the size of a rice-a-roni. It is just bulgar wheat, and comes with a spice packet. Very good for you too! I like to put feta cheese and cucumber and basil and tomatoe and olive oil and lemon juice in mine.
