Default What is the most frustrating thing your birds do?

This was inspired by Missi, but now I'm curious. Is there something your birds do that is frustrating or just so annoying??

Ryan does something that drives me completely out of my mind. He hates when my phone rings. No matter what he's doing, eating, napping, playing, when my phone rings he stops everything. He actually waits until I pick it up and say: Hello?

And then he lets out a huge: RRRAAAHHHH! RRRRAHHHH! RRAAAHHH!

It drives me insane! Of course the person on the other end of the line is laughing but I'm not! Even if he's keeping himself busy at the time of the ring, he knows that he will not be getting my attention for a while. So that is what he decides to do. He eventually stops, but getting thru the initial pick up could be quite frustrating! Even if I go in another room, I can still hear him going RRRAAHHH!

I have to rest several times a day. As soon as I lay down all of mine get extremely loud. They could be playing quietly, talking muttering, eating all day long then as soon as I lay down...all he%@ breaks loose.

Birds annoying??? Why whatever do you mean??? hee hee! My #1 is that if I have a shirt with buttons on Ruby makes it her mission to rip them off. She's sneaky about it too! The instant I let my guard down - BAM!! One is gone! Bad Bird!

Oh my goodness...mine start screaming when I get on the phone as well...like God forbid we give that little machine that we talk into attention!

I also get quite frustrated when I give them their nuts and just throw them on the floor....I get up, pick the nuts up before the dog gets his slobber all over them...then give them back to the fids...and the game continues...I almost see the naughty joy in the birds' eyes

Afa - Has to be ON me when she is not in her cage and she also dumos her food.

Occy - He is my screamer and he pukes on everything

When I get home and go to get Harrison out of her cage, she won't step-up. Then I say "ok" and start to walk out of the door. Then she moves closer to the door of her cage as if she wants to step-up...so I go back over...she backs up ...we go through this 3-5 times and she acts like she wants to step-up each time I go to walk away...then she finally steps up...it drives me nuts. I suppose I need to do it once and if she doesn't do it, walk away and come back later...eh?

wow, this is a hard one. Seriously. I would ave to say it's the way Sophie will not leave the other birds alone when they are out on the patio. Se loves to run them off of what ever gym they are on. (I wonder if that has anything to do with why I made new ones?) hehe

The way Zoey attacks anybody tat isn't me.

Benji and Cricket's only annoying behavior is that they are are SO DAMN CUTE!!!

Laker is not annoying - nope not at all. I love his little growls & his tender ways. I'm not too fond of his woodpecker attacks but they are very rare.

Rio on the other hand - he still won't step-up but now that he really wants to be friends with me he keeps landing on my head - to the point that I can still feel his tiny claws on my scalp. Then he loudly chatters at me as he leans over to see my face, slowly sliding and scraping his way down. Once or twice I can stand - 5 or 6 every 1/2 hour is getting bad & like I said it has been a few hours & I still have the sensation of him roosting on my cheekbone.
