I can sure identify with an Amazon who hates it when the phone rings. Chico always starts squawking then. It doesn't even have to ring, its the same if I pick up the phone to call someone. I guess they all have little habits that can frustrate me if I let them. I try to keep reminding myself that they're only being perfectly normal parrots, and its my expectations that need modifying! Most of the time that helps.

Pickle prefers to eat his breakfast on TOP of his cage rather than in it, which is something I am happy to indulge. However, part of this ritual involves him dropping half-eaten bits of food over the side of the cage onto the floor. I'm convinced that he is doing it on purpose to frustrate me

Cookie poops on me than laughs! I can take a little bird poop.....poop is not the problem. It's the laugh afterward that gets me!

yeah i have a few to add to the list!

Merlin- my little snuggle bug hates to go back in his cage... well let me rephrase that, he hates to go back in when Mike or i are leaving or going to bed. he won't step up- he has the tightest grip on the the cage door or whichever part of the cage he is on and wont let go... then when you finally get him to get onto your finger he refuses to let go of your finger. it's almost like super-hero strength or something. in order to get him off i have to put him at the bottom of the cage and try to pry him off my fingers. and then i have to try and close the cage door before the little bugger runs to it and try to stick his head out so i can close the door.... needless to say every night before bed is a 15-20min process just to put the birds to bed! ohh did i mention, he thinks it's funny to stand in his food bowl, and grab big handfulls of food and throw it to the bottom of the cage.

Charlie- my cute boy.... let's just call him mr. piggy! put it this way, you can't eat one thing in this house without him wanting a bite and if you don't give it to him you get a non-stop high pitch scream!!! good thing is that he can't tell the difference between whatever im eating and the healthy treat that i actually give him!! ~sneaky, sneaky~

Scarlett loves to make the beeps my phone makes when I get a text message. She also loves to make the sound of the fire detectors when the batteries are low, so not nice when she is right near your ear.

Doyle is obsessed with toes and goes after them daily.

Prinny is pretty good but I just hate it when she gets in one of her bad moods where nothing makes her happy and she hisses at me. She is rather moody.

Ollie has a very high pitched, very loud, half beep half scream that she does about once a day for absolutely no good reason (other than that she's a parrot...). She'll make the noise, I'll say "Ollie NO." She'll do it again. I'll scream NO a little louder. The noise comes again. This time I say "You wanna squirt?!" She responds with, "NO! That's NAUGHTY! OLLIE! THAT'S NO!" You would think that would be the end of the noise, because she's recognized just how bad she is...and you'd be wrong. While she's mid beep/scream I storm towards her with every intention of putting her in her cage (which she knows). As I stick my hand in front of her little chest and growl, "step up"...she immediately fluffs her little feathers up and drops her head against my hand for a scritch. She is a devil child, but I love her so!

Sassy(caique) really doesnt have any real annoy thing. Only once in a great while will she carry on for about 30 mins. Cuddles(meyers) on the other hand will make this one decible screech(beep) at least 2 times a day it last for at least 1 hr. Even Sassy cant stand that screech and will tell Cuddles "Quit It";'Stop that"or "Shut Up"( this one is when Sassy really gets fustrated with the screech.

my biggest beef is that my otherwise loving little guy absolutely will not come out for anyone but me! If Mom or 1 of the boys wants to get him out I havta go over & basically stare Winkie down & tell him to get on the person who wants him out!
ARGHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh, Camille, your story cracks me up!
