YouTube - Dumb Bird

It's kinda sad...the men were laughing at it I don't know if it's a pet or what normally I laugh at birds when they run into things at a non leathal speed but it almost seems like it was deliberate I don't know if the bird could see at night it looked like a gigantic sparrow colored thing to me...or some kind of pigeon. I normally troll Youtube for videos depicting dead or dying animals and flag them or videos like this.... but I can't be sure if I'm going to flag it yet or not. I have gotten a few videos knocked off youtube where...well I don't want to go into it beyond this someone was kicking the poor dead thing around and I just can't condone that sort of thing on youtube. It makes me thankful the site allows users to "Self Police" it.


EDIT: I marked this as semi graphic because I can hear a bunch of teens/young adult males laughing at the poor bird and it hits the house really hard...like they're 20-30 feet different and the smack the bird makes is very audible.

Tinna, it looks like a quail to me. However, I'm no expert. I think guys are so dumb sometimes. *shakes head in amazement*

I thought Quails have lil black bobbit's on their head and they were ground bound? Quails can fly?

No not all quail have that. I believe some quail can fly short distances. I know that button quail fly straight up when started but that definately isn't a button quail. There are many different species of quail.

it looked like one o f those rock hens birds.. oh i know quaiil fly into anything when startled it just looked way to big for a quail.. i may be wrong....

It could be a bobwhite, they're fairly large. 'Course, I'm thinking of species that are w/in the lower 48 states.
