Ollie smells like dust- no matter how often I bathe her!
Dakota smells like dust- no matter how often he bathes himself!
Mollie smells like fresh straw.

A lot of the time when the birds are preening my beard, I can smell their breath (is that weird?). I think it smells like a sweet milk smell...not unpleasant at all.

I don't know how to describe how Jack smells, I just know that I really like how he smells. When I first got him, I only got small wiffs of how he smelled and wanted so bad to be able to put my nose up to him but I would have pulled back less face so I had to wait, now I get all the macaw smell I could ever want

I feel the same way about Kita, it's the BEST smell. I keep hanging around hoping to get another smell! She's like the freshest air you've ever smelled in your life!

Pita smells like biscuts cooking....lol When he's wet, it's not so good. Depending on what he's eating is what his breath smells like.

Whatever it is, it's his smell and I love it.

My macaws smell fresh and light--like some kind of refreshing floral scent. The few amazons I've met smell earthy to me--more like musk. I love both kinds of smells. A clean, healthy bird is a joy to stick your nose up to and take a sniff of--provided they don't bite it off! *grins*
