Default What birds of yours like citrus fruits?

Similar question that Stizby asked but instead of bananas this time:

Oranges(?) Grapefruits(?) Limes(?) Lemons(?), Etc.(?)

I don't give Ollie much citrus. Seems I've heard a time or 2 that there is something bad about it, or too much it, and I don't eat it often anyways. Occasionally I'll buy oranges and give Ollie a taste. She seems to like it, but as with most things, will drop it after a few nibbles.

My birds love naartjies and oranges, they don't get all year round as it is seasonal.

Question: Do you all serve with the skin on or off? I have a caique who will pick off all the skin (not ingesting it from what I can tell) and leave the flesh alone -- basically treats it like a toy than food!

All my birds like oranges and tangerines but most especially the cardinals, senegals and Grays (the cardinals adore them - they Grays suck the juice out of them but don't eat the pulp). They get them all year round once a week (they also get orange juice once a week). They all get them with the skin on (some birds like to eat it and there is nothing wrong with that as long as they are organic and previously washed).

All of mine love oranges, apples, and some banana's{except the Alexandrine's won't eat banana's}. But I leave the peel on for the Alex's and I remove the peel for my GC Conure and my Cockatiel. They all love grapes, and berries of all kinds, so I guess I'm pretty lucky that their not to picky,LOL!

My two both have a crazy sweet beak! So they don't like anything sour....no lemon, lime or grapefruit here. They do enjoy an occasional plump juicy orange (Maple only peeled and segmented, mainly sucking out juice and not eating much pulp & Harley eating it served any old way at all). But they both prefer Clementine's (which are just coming into the stores now ...YAY!). Whatever it is, it has to be sweet, juicy and plump!

Tommaso won't eat fresh juicy fruit. He will eat the dried up fruits that are in some of his treats. He's a vegetable boy.
