Red face Wet Paint Again

Wet Paint Again - cause it happen 2x's last year.

I paint with acrylic artist's paints, and use a stay-wet pallet. I often have quite a bit of paint in the pallet. When I paint i can get pretty focused so the 3 times LaKer has landed in my pallet - I wasn't prepared.

First 2 x's he landed in the red paint - red little foot prints everywhere & then one wet Budgie, as we decided it was off to the bathroom for a bath. This time it was Green & Primary Yellow feet.

Off to the bathroom for a foot shower; but the little devil was on to me & with his flying skills he can do laps in the small room.
So I grabbed him! Those that know me a little, know I've been very sensitive to Laker's wish not to be touched or heaven forbid held! I got a lot of struggling & chittering but no biting!

I was able to turn the tap on & rub his toes clean. Then i gently put him onto the vanity. He stood there blinking at me & then gave himself a shake.
He hasn't acted afraid of me so I guess he wasn't too afraid - more affronted.

Maybe he wants to paint a picture! Don't they do that with shelter animals sometimes? Put paint on their paws, let them walk on a canvas and then sell the paintings at fund raisers? LOL

I think he wants to paint, or he is jealous of the painting attention and just wants to see. Good thing that he was not affended by his wash clean.

I also think he wants to participate in the painting

Glad he wasn't too bothered by the "handling" - I think he knows that you wouldn't hurt him.
