So first off guys, my move went well (as well as moving can go). Most of the fids adjust just fine, but Papi is funny. durring the day he's fine, playin, eatin, normal Papi stuff, but the minute I turn the lights off at night, he flys off of his cage and into my bedroom and lands on my bed with me. It reminds me of a kid whos affraid of the dark saying "dady
!, can I sleep with you." I dont think its a porblem, and mabe I read too much into it, but I'm kinda flattered that he wants to be with me when he's a little uncomfortable. this happened last time we moved also and after a week or so, he stoped doing it, but Its just the most adorable thing when I lay down and all of a sudden I hear flap flap flap flap and then theres a papi on my chest.

Welcome back Josh, glad to hear the move is behind you and you're back online! Sounds like you're right about Papi, he's just not comfortable enough yet in the new hacienda to sleep without Daddy. So how are you liking the new place?

ehhh.... its not bad. doesnt feel quite like home yet, but its also not as bad as I thought it would be... once I get over the stress of being forced to move, I think I'll be fine. Thanks for asking Nate!

Aww it sounds like he really adores you. I think it is sweet in a way. I hope he starts to get used to the new place soon.

You might want to try leaving a small night light on for the birds until they adapt to their new surroundings.
