Default Vet Visit-Anyone Else have this problem???

I took Polly to the bird vet last night to have her nails trimmed and feathers cut. (It was 6 months since the last visit and she was flying around the house). He used a grinder on her toe nails. When we got home i noticed that she was lifting her one foot up every couple of minutes. This happened for the next two hours and this morning too. Is it possible that he damaged the quick? Do birds feet have a quick???

There is a blood vein that runs through the nail, but it sounds like she may have sensitivity on the foot. Check it carefully for abrasions or swelling.

She could have strained something from struggling while being restrained, perhaps?
