Well, tonight I had a chance that some only get to dream of. I handled the sweetest Goliath Palm Cockatoo, and Im in LOVE! The scary part, John is in bigger love than I am!! I held him for 2 hours. And this was the firs ttime John continued to ask "let me hold him!" Here he is.

Gayla....Im dying here....you have no idea! I almost cried to leave without him. My husband just loves this bird. His name is Shadow and he's only 2. He was laughing and talking, saying Hello and kissing me. He cuddled under our chins and was so warm. That red patch on his face feels like velvet. He's absolutely enormous!

OMG!! Wow, what a gorgeous bird! Is he for sale? Is he someone's pet? What a wonderful find! His beak is huge...well, HE is huge! Did he talk a lot??

What a beauty; he is so big! Can't even imagine where you would put a cage for that baby.

yeahhhhh, he's for sale. Its a huge ticket. Plus sales tax at 7%...its a car invoice basically. But he was talking, "Hello, Hi" a really sweet belly laugh and some Elmo noises that sound like an Ekkie. He cooed like a dove, just so sweet, I cant even describe what this experience was like. Simply love.

So, when do you take him home? Will you have to take out a second mortgage?
