Default Tired of baby pix, yet?

If so, this probably isn't the thread for you :-).

'Course, I'm talking baby MACAWS, not baby humans. I don't know any miniature humans younger than 6....

So, Rowan is here again today. I could keep her right now if I wanted, 'cause Deb says she's weaned, but I'm waiting 'til next week, so that Rowan and Kenobi can spend some time getting to know each other. He really likes her--wants to play with her, and chases her all over. He's gentle (as macaws go) with her, but she---well, she was raised with Pico, the Green-Eyed Monster! Mr. Jealous doesn't like baby macaws taking away from HIS attention, and wants to remove their eyes :help: ! So Rowan is afraid of Kenobi, wondering if he'll act the same way, and I think it'll take a week of getting to know each other before she feels comfortable with him. We shall see :-). I'll try and have her over every day (or take Kenobi to Deb's house) so they can get to know each other.

So here are some adventures from this morning. I hope you like them :-).

Here's just a pic of Rowan's pretty face:

Here are 2 photos that really do a good job of showing just how tiny Rowan is when compared to Kenobi:

Here they are on the sofa, checking out the view. Z joins them in his robe for one pic :-):

When Kenobi gets too forward, Rowan simply flies away. Of course, that means TWO macaws flying breakneck through the house, 'cause Kenobi doesn't know how to take "no" for an answer :-):

The hoopball is a favorite perch:

These last two are simply individual pix of my pretty babies:

Alex, next time I need a sitter, I'll give ya a call, k? :-)

Nancy, that's one of my favs, too. That, and the one where they're both flapping for all they're worth.
